The Noble Quran:

Chapter 40 in the Noble Quran is composed of 85 verses.

Verses from 5-10 are talking about the Day of Judgment wherein 1) the word of the Lord to fill the Hell with the disbelievers will be fulfilled, 2) What the Angels shall say and pray about the Believers and 3) What the Angels shall say to the Disbelievers. These meanings are not found in the Bible!

Verse six says that the word of the Lord will be fulfilled at the Day of Judgment.

What was the word of the Lord?

It is that the Lord will fill the Hell with the disbelievers!

Read the verse: 11:119

This word will be fulfilled at the Day of Judgment wherein the disbelievers will be:

o The inhabitants of the Eternal Fire in the Hereafter,

o The inmates of the Eternal Fire in the Hereafter,

o The owners of the Eternal Fire in the Hereafter,

o The companions of the Eternal Fire in the Hereafter!

Verse seven says that: Those who bear the Throne of the Beneficent, who are the great angels and all who are round about it of the angels, hymn the praises: ‘Glory, and praise, be to Allah’; and they believe in Him, exalted be He, through their power of discernment, in other words, they affirm the truth of His Oneness

They ask forgiveness and pray for those who believe in Muhammad and in the Quran saying: O our Lord! You filled all things with blessings and knowledge

that is to say, Your mercy embraces all things and Your knowledge also embraces all things. And You know all things,

Therefore forgive those who repent from sins and follow Your way, Your religion, Islam.

Ward off from them the punishment of Hell

drive away from them the torment of the Fire.

and shield them from the chastisement of Hell-fire, that is, the Fire.

In verse eight, the Angels are still praying, They say:

Our Lord, and admit them and make them enter into

the Gardens of Eden

the Gardens of eternity

the Gardens of perpetuity

as a place of residence for them, that which You have promised them, along with whoever were righteous among their fathers and their wives and their descendants as they believe in Allah’s divine Oneness.

Surely You are the One Who is the Mighty in Your dominion and sovereignty, the Wise, in what He does and in Your command and decree.

In verse nine too, the Angels are still praying, They say:

And ward off from them ill deeds, and shield them from evil deeds, that is, from the chastisement thereof; for whomever You shield from evil deeds that day, the Day of Resurrection, verily him You will have had been merciful to; You have forgiven, protected and raised in station.

and that (forgiveness and driving away chastisement) is indeed the supreme triumph’. In other word, it is the abundant triumph: i.e. to gain the Garden and be saved from the Fire.

On the other hand, verse ten describes what the Angels will say to the unbelievers:

Indeed to those who disbelieve it will be proclaimed to them] from the angels, as they (the disbelievers) enter the Fire in utter loathing of themselves: ‘Surely Allah’s loathing, of you, is greater than your loathing of yourselves, as you were called, during life to faith but you used to deny and disbelieve’.

The Angels pray for the Believers and their saying to the unbelievers at the Day of Judgment are not found in the Bible!

The Verses 6-10:

[6] And so it is that the word of your lord shall be realized and fulfilled against the unbelievers that truly they are the inhabitants of the fire.

[7] Those who sustain the throne (of Allah) and those around it sing glory to their lord and exalt with the praise of their lord and believe in him.

They implore forgiveness for the believers (saying): ‘our lord, you embrace all things in mercy and knowledge. Forgive those who repent and follow your way. Shield them against the punishment of hell (and preserve them from the penalty of the blazing fire!)

[8] our lord! admit and make them enter the gardens of eternity which you have promised them, together with those who were righteous among their fathers, their wives, and their offspring. you are the almighty, the wise,

[9] and preserve them from (all) ills. whosoever you guarded against ills on that day, surely, you have bestowed mercy upon them, and that is indeed the mighty triumph which will be truly (for them) the highest achievement ‘

[10] it shall be proclaimed to the unbelievers: ’surely, Allah’s hatred (of you) when you were called upon to the faith and you rejected, is much greater than your hatred of yourselves. you were called to belief but disbelieved.’
