Did the 12 tribes call themselves Israelites?
I know Jacob’s, who was renamed Israel, sons/grandsons are the 12 tribes of Israel but did “they” call themselves Israelites? Was the King James Bible responsible for first calling them that? When did an Israelite start calling himself an Israelite?
