what does this part of the Bible verse mean ?
Trust in the LORD with all your heart
OK, I have been a Jesus lover for 57 years but when I read my daily scriptures, I like to really get a good grasp on what it exactly means, I tend to be very literal and left brained, so I ask here to get many “views”, why do they use the word “heart” here, to trust with all your heart ? I am a “thinker” and so am not as closely related to my heart as feelers, so what does it mean to you to “trust with your HEART ?”
I hate the chair analogy, but it fits here….Jesus wants us to trust in Him just like we trust that a chair will support us when we sit in it…without even thinking about it! You don’t ponder your depth of trust in the chair, you just truly believe that it will keep you up. So, don’t ponder, just trust, completely and wholly, that Jesus is there for you to keep you up!
