In the bible, 1 John ch. 5 verse 16 & 17, what does God mean by “deadly sin” and “non deadly sin”?
So you can pray for people to have eternal life but only if they haven’t committed a deadly sin? I don’t understand this…
Thanks– becca
Thankyou everyone for your feedback
I went to biblegateway.com and read the LONG commentary…is a bit confusing, but this is what i understand it to say….
A Christian, one who has Christ living in them, does not sin with sin that leads to death because they are instantly burdened by that sin and desire to confess it…
A person who sins lead to death are those because they live in the grip of satan, or the evil one as biblegateway explains. All sins must beconfessed, we must repent, and therefore, they do not lead to death.
