The Holy Bible is the inspired, inerrant, infallible Word of the Living God.
The Divine Providence of God is on full display throughout all history and in the pages of the Holy Scriptures. The beautiful order and symmetry that God displays speaks loudly to the veracity of the Word of God and His direct involvement in the affairs of His creation.
There are 22 books prior to the book of Isaiah.
There are 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet showcased in the book of Lamentationsand Psalm 119.
Lamentations is perfectly written poetic lament containing 22 verses in each chapter mirroring the Hebrew alphabet symmetrically. In total there are 5 chapters; the 1st 2 chapters are 22 verses, the last 2 chapters are the same 22 verses, with the exception being the middle chapter being a total of 66 verses!
Psalm 119 happens to be the exact middle chapter in the entire Word of God. It also happens to be the LONGEST psalm and the LONGEST chapter in the Holy Bible, AND it is ordered according to the 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet with each stanza headed by the Hebrew letters being 8 verses long. Symmetry!
22 letters; 22 books leading up to the book of Isaiah, THEN God announces His divine penmanship with the book of Isaiah being a condensed version of the whole structure of the Word of God which gives to the name of the “mini-Bible”.
With the depth of structure leading up to this point, the layout of the Holy Bible as a whole is revealed.
66 books of the Holy Bible
66 chapters of Isaiah “mini-Bible”
1st 39 books of Bible, the OT (judgment and Israel)
1st 39 chapters of Isaiah (judgment and Israel)
2nd 27 books of Bible, the NT (deliverance and the Messiah)
2nd 27 chapters of Isaiah, (deliverance and the Messiah)
Now brace yourself for this bible tidbit as if there need to be even more confirmation;
There are exactly 66 generations leading from the first Adam (the first man) to the second Adam (Jesus Christ)!
The exact middle generation of the genealogy of Jesus Christ is KING DAVID (no.33)
There are 33 generations from King David to Christ (*27* listed in the NT book of Matthew plus the 6 missing generations from the OT 2 Chronicles)
Books containing the genealogy;
Genesis 5
2 Chronicles 10-36
Matthew 1
Luke 3
The breakdown of the genealogy of the Son of God showing the meticulous nature of God and how He controls ALL THINGS is laid out in the actual history of mankind.
10 generations from Adam to Noah
10 generations from Noah to Abraham
14 generations from Abraham to King David
14 generations from King David to the exile of God’s people
3 (2 Chronicles 21:4-26:23 gives 3 missing generations between Jehoram and Uzziah)
3 (2 Chronicles 36:1-9 gives the 3 missing generations between Josiah and Jeconiah)
14 generations from the exile of God’s people to Christ.
You might count up the numbers here and say, “That’s 68 generations!”
However, what you are forgetting is that Adam was the first generation and Jesus Christ was the last generation thus bringing the number to 66!
The actual history of man is used to trumpet God’s existence!
The order and symmetry God displays is a testament to the statistical certainty that He exists and that ALL details are accounted for throughout the pages of time! Time is just the canvas that God uses to play out His redemptive plan for His children.
So, take comfort that God is in control of ALL things, and nothing is left to “chance”.
The missionary field is not always in some far away land. Our neighborhoods, communities, and circle of friends are our areas of most influence. However, most Christians do not know how to share their faith in a confident manner with those put in their path, so they just don’t! They will just make excuses for staying a closet Christian. My goal is to arm our Christian brothers and sisters with knowledge and embolden them to fulfill the Great Commission.
The hope of the creators of this website is to strengthen the faith and the witnessing abilities of the readers. To build up the knowledge of Believers so that they can witness to those that are lost, is the goal here. May the Lord bless you as you grow in your faith!
