Christians: tell me what you imagine Christian heaven to be like?
It seems the bible just mentions Christian heaven without describing it and people just assume it’s a good place. Apparently there are some common misconceptions regarding Christian heaven. The ‘clouds and angels playing harps’ image seems to be more in line with what the Greeks used to believe and isn’t Christian heaven at all. Someone just told me the bible mentions ‘roads of gold and great pillars’ but I haven’t heard that before. Do you Christians picture heaven with clouds and harp playing angels and stuff like that?
I think heaven will be filled with angels rejoicing always. God having the world in his hands, but when I 1st get their the road is all gold. I think then I could do even more of God’s work and become an angel, now that is amazing.
