5. At one point of time, an asteroid will collide with our Earth.
Though the Mayan Calendar is found to be accurate in predicting about the future, many people contend that the predictions are erroneous because the last predicted Mayan cycle of nearly 5,125 years did not cause any destruction to the entire planet.
