We have Cingular service. What PDA/Smartphone would be best for me?
In addition to making cell phone calls and taking pictures, I’d like to be able to download ESword Bible software (or something similar) to be able to study, look up, research, etc. I’d also like to have a planner. Email and internet would be nice as well. When I try to understand the plans and phones available on the Cingular website, I feel lost because of my technology ignorance. Any advice and instruction welcome. Thank you.
I have the Cingular 8125 (otherwise known as the HTC Wizard). It has Windows Mobile 5.0 (the best version of windows mobile available now) and has wi-fi (so you can go online if you find a wireless internet access), 1.3 meg camera, Bluetooth (for connectivity), MiniSD memory card slot (to add capacity for large files), and a really convenient slide out keyboard. Also, it’s smaller than most PDA phones. On the downside, its screen is smaller than other Cingular PDAs. I personally like it a lot and do a lot of work on it.
Also, it syncs with your Outlook so you always have an up to date planner/calendar, inbox, contacts, etc.
