Does anyone actually read the 1611 King James Bible?
Where do you even get one of those? Every King James Bible I can find is based on the 1769 revision.
Actually, here’s a good test.
The 1611 and 1769 texts of the first verse from I Corinthians 13 are given below.
1611: Though I speake with the tongues of men & of Angels, and haue not charity, I am become as sounding brasse or a tinkling cymbal.
1769: Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

Actually – it’s *very* much worth the read. I recommend even more strongly the New Cambridge Paragraph Bible – which is probably closer to the original *translation* (not the original *printing*) than any edition of the King James Version ever printed.
